With the lifting of the stay-home order, we are free to re-open! Starting Monday, June 8th, we can safely implement phase I of our reopening plan.
Phase I – Curbside Pickup
In Phase I of the Lenawee District Library reopening plan, library books and materials can be requested ahead of time and will be available for pickup at the front door of the library. The library will be open for limited hours. No patrons will be allowed in the library building for any reason. Employees will engage in proper social distancing and use of personal protective equipment. There will be no in-person library programming.
We will be offering scheduled curb-side pickup for library items. Patrons can call and request, or request items online. Once notified via a phone call, patrons can schedule a time to pick up those items. We ask that patrons wear a mask when coming to pick up items, and have their ID handy for verification purposes. We will be limiting contact as much as possible during this phase.
All of our branches will be reopening on Monday, with limited hours. Those hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Hours to come Friday.
While we are not sure how long Phase I will be in place, we are so excited to see our patrons again and be able to get items into their hands once more!
If you need to return items, we ask that you put them in the return boxes.
