Deerfield Natural Yarn Dyeing

Fiber artist Alexandra Sarkozy will lead participants in learning about natural plant dyes and creating hand-dyed fibers using black walnut. Attendees will come away with knowledge of the materials and process, a sampler of dyed textiles in different fibers, and a skein of dyed wool sock yarn to use in their own projects.
