Free verse / spoken word poetry has taken over the poetry world the last couple of years. A lot of poetry-lovers and writers are curious about it, but not entirely sure how to break away from crafting traditional poetry. Local poet Nicole Ries will explain what free verse poetry is and how to write it. Then attendees will have time to craft their own poems!
 
The program is for ages 16 and up. Registration is required (for material purposes). Please call 517-263-1011 to sign up!
 
Nicole will have copies of her poetry books available for purchase for $10.00 each. Cash, local check, and Venmo accepted.
