What’s better during the cold month of January than staying inside and reading?

This year, the Lenawee District Library is offering you the chance to win a prize while you read! To do so, join our 2022 Winter Reading Challenge.

  • The program will run from Saturday January 1 through Monday January 31
  • This challenge is for adults ages 18 and up.
  • There are two ways that you can participate.
    • Using the Beanstack app / website and logging your reading material
    • Through entry slips that can be picked up at any of our library branches
  • Registration will open on Beanstack on Monday, December 20. If you already have a Beanstack account, simply log in and enroll in the 2022 Winter Reading Challenge
  • Participants will earn a registration prize – a book tracker bookmark! These can be collected starting Monday January 3 at any library branch.

 

How to participate:

  • Log at least 3 books / audiobooks through the month using Beanstack to complete the reading challenge and to quality for our prize drawings OR
  • Turn in at least 3 entry slips through the month to quality for our prize drawings.
  • There will be ONE entry per person and you can ONLY qualify by completing the challenge.
  • Only books or audiobooks can be logged – no magazines

 

At the end of the month, we will have four small prize drawings and a grand prize:
(2) Book-themed puzzle and literary candle
(2) Book check-out mug and 2 coasters
(1) Cozy grand prize featuring a hand-knitted blanket
